VERO - True Social app for iPhone and iPad

I am having lots of fun sharing movies, books, music and pictures on Vero. My favourite part is that you can easily select who you share with. You can choose a specific friend/friends, close friends, friends, or acquaintances. There is even an option for "just me" which is nice because sometimes there are things I would like to post privately. You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into Vero as it is very user friendly. I cant wait until more of my friends sign up!

Loving this app. Great privacy settings and the fact that I choose what group receives my information. The chat is awesome and the movie review section is a great tool to use on movie night! Looking forward to many more hours exploring this great app!

This app is great and has a lot of potential! But nobody is on it to be friends with... and one more suggestion, that they add text as a form of sharing. Currently you cannot post just text, that should be changed.

So far, less problems posting with and using this app than FB, Twitter, or IG. Its easy to look at and figure out, and much more powerful than the giants for posts like location. Its also much more relaxed-feeling. I just enjoy using it far more than anything else yet, honestly. Vero designers, great job! Any chance youd make an operating system that looks like this?

Im a sucker for applications and am always looking for something better. This app Vero has a clean design. Its purpose lies in the ability to share things you like (i.e.: music, books, movies, places, etc) along with commentary. I think its effectiveness within the realm of social media is that you actually get to learn more about what the person youre following likes - rather than an instantaneous thought or picture. You can also set audiences. I give it a 10/10 and I hope it catches on so I can delete Facebook at last.

Downloaded the app and started signing up and all was going fine. Then it started the search of my contacts and never ended the search. Finally I gave up and figured Id just deal with it later. I finished signing in, and thought that it was just one hiccup, but now it was time to go. There was a highlighted button to make my first post, so I did one up and hit send and a progress bar started a painfully slow crawl across the bottom of the screen. It never ended, even though I carried on with other things and came back much later to find it unmoved. Next I tried to add my contacts as it never went through during the setup. All I got was a search function, no way to search all the contacts on my phone, despite having requested access to it. I tried a few names and nothing ever appeared to happen. I dont know if the names I tried use the app, but it never even bothered to come back with a no results found. Trying my contacts it only opened up my contacts so I could call/txt/email normally and I dunno, ask them to download the app and try to figure out how to add me? Finally, I tried clicking the button to look at my posts, but despite several tries, it just kept bring a page so I could change my avatar pics. Now, more then frustrated, I got back to my first post in a roundabout way, and it was still trying to finish the upload. I considered the possibility that I had a bad connection, but I had 4 or 5 bars throughout and none of my other apps were even slowing down when I tried them. Recommendation: dont download and dont even bother wasting time thinking about if it is worth trying.

It looks like it could be decent but you have to guess at a name if no one you know uses it, and then connect before you can see anything about them... so you cant even screen people.

Vero is not a social network. Vero is the Values-Based Social Network. Back to basics !! authenticity and privacy. True relationships. Bravo !!!

I have no other friends on the app and dont see it picking up any traction.

Really like this app so far! Very easy to use. Nice lay out. Awesome features like music and book favorites. Now I just need more friends and family on here to connect with.
